I have known Leona for more than 10 years. In organizing photographic programs, I know she is a strong helping hand. For most of the photographic events where I have involvement, she is always willing to help upon request. In the past year, Leona has been organizing short programs on her own. Her "Spirit of the West Photo Ven tures" is well-known also to the local Chinese photographers. The program also attracts photographers from the Far East. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to join one of Leon as's short program, the Horse Drive. From the experience I had in that few days, I learnt not only the beauty of the shooting environment, but also the way how Leona runs her programs in a professional manner and she did it whole heartedly and thoughtfully. At that end of the program, one of my closed friend, who had joined Leona's program several times, in the group asked me if Leona gave me a big hug. I said yes and I knew the big hug meant she also enjoyed being with each of us for sharing her passion with her fellow photographers and she knew that we all appreciated her hard and diligent work.

"The spectacular scenery of Yellowstone in winter is just breathtaking at every turn, and our Snow Coach was comfortable and spacious, with lots of room for everyone to watch for bison, elk and other wildlife. The flexibility of our well-planned daily schedule allowed plenty of additional time to photograph when a rare opportunity (like a red fox hunting or coyotes feeding on a carcass) presented itself during our tour. I was impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of our guide(s). Great Food! Great company! Exciting walks around the amazing geyser basin - and lots of animals to observe in their natural habitat. Just a wonderful experience and I got some great photos too!"

Leona's tour of Yellowstone is a trip to a winter wonderland that should not be missed. The winter landscape of steam and snow, Old Faithful geyser erupting at regular intervals, and the wildlife of bison, elk and other animals, present great photographic opportunities that should delight any photographer. I will remember Yellowstone as one of the best winter trips I have ever taken.

Leona's Flower Photography Workshop opened a whole new world of creativity in photography to me. I learnt the use of diffusers and reflectors to control light, keeping the background simple, and achieving a softness in close-ups to capture the beauty of flowers, looking for the small details found in lines and colours.
